Innergy Mailer — Privacy Policy

Innergy Mailer is a browser extension that adds a button to Innergy purchase-order pages. It exports the purchase-order PDF using Innergy's existing export, then opens a pre-filled email draft — with the PDF and any selected purchase-order file attachments — in the mail application you choose (Apple Mail or Microsoft Outlook).

What the extension accesses

• Information shown on the Innergy purchase-order page you are viewing: the PO number, vendor name, vendor contact email, and material line items.
• The list of files attached to the purchase order, retrieved from Innergy's own API (app.innergy.com), and the files you choose to include.
• Your saved preferences: which mail app to use and, on Windows with New Outlook, an optional Microsoft Azure application (client) ID.

How that information is used

The data above is used for one purpose only: to assemble an email draft and open it in your chosen mail application. The exported PDF and any selected attachments are downloaded to your computer and attached to that draft.

Where data goes

• It is not sent to the developer. Innergy Mailer has no backend server and does not collect, store, sell, or share your data with the developer or any third-party analytics or advertising service.
• Innergy: the extension communicates only with your own Innergy account at app.innergy.com to read the purchase order you are viewing and its attachments.
• Your mail app: the draft details (subject, body, recipient, attachment file paths) are passed to a companion native helper you install, which creates the draft locally in Apple Mail or Outlook.
• Microsoft (New Outlook on Windows only): if you choose "New Outlook," the helper signs in with your own Microsoft account and uses the Microsoft Graph API to create the draft in your own mailbox. The email content is transmitted to Microsoft as part of creating that draft in your account. The sign-in token is cached locally on your computer.

Data storage

Preferences are stored locally in your browser via the extension storage API. Any Microsoft sign-in token (New Outlook) is cached locally by the native helper on your computer. None of this is transmitted to the developer.

Permissions

• downloads — detect the exported PDF and download selected PO attachments to your computer.
• nativeMessaging — pass the draft to the local helper that creates it in your desktop mail app.
• storage — save your preferences and short-lived state.
• Access to app.innergy.com — run on Innergy pages and read the purchase order and its attachment list.
